We all carry pain, grief, shame, anxiety and fears; we will work together to understand these and move toward healing and growth. I recognize that we as humans are not raised in isolation, but our families and systems around us impact how we experience life and function in the world. We will aim to discover the “whys” behind the feelings and reactions and move away from judgment toward self-compassion as you navigate the ups and downs of life. I work with adolescents and adults ages 10+ who are experiencing, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions and eating disorders. Prior to working in outpatient I worked for 5 years in a residential facility specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. I am passionate about helping adults and adolescents develop a healthy relationship with food and their body. I am HAES aligned and work from a relational, psychodynamic approach while incorporating the use of CBT and DBT. When working with adolescents with eating disorders I utilize Family Based Treatment (FBT) and Emotion Focused Family Therapy. I also offer clinical supervision for those seeking licensure in Washington State in addition to providing eating disorder consultation to other licensed clinicians.
